I am Love Shamar: Certified Loveologist, Love Coach, artist, poet, open mic host, and author of A Modern Day Black Woman’s Poetry, Vol. 1: Two Decades of Growth and Change.

Since 2011, I’ve helped individuals and couples rediscover love. For years, I believed the answer was simply self-love, but my journey revealed a deeper truth:

💯Real love begins with God.

Your true identity is rooted in God’s love for you. Until you know who you are in Him, you can’t fully love yourself or others. The problem is not that we don’t love ourselves, it’s that we often don’t know who we truly are. Once you find your identity in God, self-love and healthy relationships naturally flow.

That truth has transformed my work.

Today, I guide others through writing, poetry, and heart-centered conversations that help them rediscover their God-given identity and embrace healing from the inside out.

I believe life is a series of lessons, and when we walk with God, even the hardest moments become stepping stones to growth.

Through storytelling, testimonies, and poetry, my mission is to remind others:

💜You are worthy of love.  Starting with His.

Right now, I am completing Book Two of the For Me trilogy and launching creative writing workshops and courses designed to help others heal, reflect, and reconnect with their true identity in God, one honest word at a time.

You can often find me hosting open mics, creating healing spaces through poetry, and sharing the message that love - God’s love - changes everything.
